Stay on the New York Thruway (Interstate 87) for 55 miles, then exit at New Paltz, Exit 18.

After paying toll, at the end of the exit ramp, turn left at traffic light, then turn right at the next light onto Putt Corners Road.

Approximately 1/2 mile down Putt Corners Road, turn left onto Shivertown Road.

At stop sign, turn right onto Route 32 North.

Travel approximately 6 miles on Route 32 North. You will cross two bridges. After crossing the second bridge at the traffic light turn left in front of the Stewart's onto Route 213—Main Street.

The bywater bistro is located at 419 Main Street, approximately ½ mile down on the left.

Park on Main Street, or turn right onto Hardenbergh Lane (at Rosendale Wares - a yellow building) and enter the municipal parking lot, located behind the Rosendale Theatre.
